A collection of largely acoustic songs following up from the more rock oriented stylings of Company B, from 2017. What these 2 releases share is minimal levels of intervention and computer enhancement and the spontaneity of realising the very first impression of a song when it is fresh.
Whilst Company B was produced with a maximum of 8 tracks on any given song, Locked and Loaded features mainly acoustic single takes.
Whilst it has moments of whimsy and wry observation, it also has tenderness and reflections of darker aspects of the human condition.
As producer/writer/solo artist Matt the Knife, Matthew continues to deliver an eclectic mix of songs in an inimitable way.
